Felix Skryker, Mercia’s Minister of State Security is in my way. I want him either onside and silenced, or I want him removed altogether.
His relationship with his Prisoner of State, Xanthe Chance, is unwelcome. I suggest every means be taken to stop the two reaching any degree of understanding.
There is no time to waste. I will have them both in custody by the Turn of The Year and then I will decide.

Fully agree. This is a most unsavoury position and the Minister has been allowed to get away with too much for too long. We need to restore a sense of order and dignity at the top. If the Regent won’t do it, others will have to.
The Minister says he helps bring security to Mercia, what Mercians do with that security is their business.
But he’s too pretty to be arrested!
He will not be arrested! Not if I have anything to do with it! Mind you,being a roof-watcher, however highly placed, makes it hard to take an active role. This is why I’ve decided I simply must get the news out. All is not well in the Regency of Mercia.

Seems to me Skryker is doing a pretty good job. Who cares what he gets up to behind doors if the streets are safe?
